WHY ARE OTHER METHODS NOT AS EFFECTIVE AS STEAM CLEANING?

SHAMPOOING
Does not thoroughly clean, machine is not powerful enough to extract all dirty water, contaminants, and shampoo leaving behind a tacky residue which in turn attracts dirt and dust to the carpet like a magnet. Can cause over wetting, in turn causing mold or mildew growth and odors in carpeting. Not as effective in corners or stairs. Can cause carpet fiber damage.

SURFACE CLEANING
This method is performed using a rotating cleaning brush. This method does not thoroughly clean, no extraction of deep down dirt, only extracts surface dirt. The machine does not clean corners or steps, can cause major carpet fiber damage.

DRY CLEANING
Some harsh chemicals may be used. Does not thoroughly clean, may stain light colored carpets, cleaning action abrades and damages carpet fibers, Heavy residue remains which can result in premature wear.
